Coaching Services
Raging Magma Life Productions LLC provides coaching designed to unleash creativity and channel energy into your most desired outcomes. Raging Magma Life success story...
We work with clients on any area of life where personal vision and dreams are asking (or demanding) to be fulfilled. This could be in business, relationship, personal growth, lifestyle changes – in short, in any area where you have a desire or vision for change but don’t quite know how to actualize it.
The coaching team works closely with you to articulate
a clear vision and to support behavior changes and
choices that more effectively, strategically and consistently
actualize your satisfaction with
your life.
At the initial consultation, we
explore four questions with you:
- what are your desired outcomes, both short- and long-term?
- what is required to achieve those outcomes?
- what is currently preventing you from reaching them?
- how might we assist you in achieving success?
Your coaching contract is then tailored to your unique needs and aspirations. After the initial consultation, we prepare a proposal for you. Our proposals usually include two or three alternate sets of coaching activities with different time spans and/or contact levels, so you may choose what fits you best. Most contracts will include one or more of the following:
Visioning Sessions
Explorations of the larger picture and your day-to-day realities, upcoming challenges, and current strategies. Visioning Sessions include a questionnaire completed by you in preparation for the session.
Coaching Sessions
On-going sessions to discuss progress, integrate success, assess existing and needed levels of support, and troubleshoot. Coaching sessions often include between-session assignments tailored to your specific style and challenges.
Check-ins
Brief (15-30 minute) conversations to provide regular support for the change process.
Check-ins can be particularly valuable for self-employed people or others who, for whatever reason, do not have the opportunity to talk about their challenges and accomplishments with colleagues.
After the completion of a contract, we ask you to assess what you gained from working with us, how well you have sustained those gains, and what you need to continue to progress.
Our goal is to be a catalyst that helps you cultivate an integrated awareness and sustainable, positive change. That is, we don’t want you to be our clients forever!
Why We Use a Team Approach to Coaching
Together, Diana and Karen bring an exciting blend of enthusiasm, insight, practical problem-solving, good questions, and creative options. Additionally, we are able to draw upon a wide range of experience that includes leadership development, teaching, communication strategies, organizational change work, broad experience with computing/internet technology and resources, and much more. With this combined background, we find that we are more adaptable, intelligent, and inspired in our work with clients. And most importantly, we find we laugh a lot more working as a team!
Small Business Success Story
Recently we sat with Barbara, a self-published author, to talk about
her aspirations for coaching and for her business. Barbara had one
specific goal: to market her book to radio show hosts and become
a regular radio show guest. She knew that many other authors have
used this strategy to achieve financial success. However, despite
a significant amount (over three years) of preparation for implementing
this strategy, she had yet to make it work for her.
We established a 6-week contract with Barbara that incorporated
a visioning session, weekly coaching sessions, and check-ins
three times per week. As we worked with her, the following key challenges
emerged:
- moving through anxiety into action
- setting consistent priorities and consistently making decisions
that match those priorities
- being accountable to herself rather than specters of past authority
figures
- recognizing, celebrating, and integrating successes and gains
- making little daily proactive course corrections instead of
big periodic reactive ones
- putting challenges in perspective (so they don't loom larger
than they really are)
- understanding the relationship between money and core mission
By the end of the 6-week period, Barbara had been on 6 radio shows.
A month later, she had completed a total of 10 interviews and the
requests continue to come in. She also developed a clear understanding of why
it had taken her so long to reach that point, had tools to work
with those blocks, and had significant success with her new work patterns
to carry her forward.
"Working with Karen and Diana produced a break-through activity
in my business. I had been attracted to doing radio show interviews
for over three years, but had been unwilling to stick my neck
out that far. I now have an easy and repeatable skill and it's
no longer anxiety-producing to call producers or be on the air.
I'm even getting many requests for repeat interviews!"
